	Quality management system Rigorous quality control protocols Our quality management system encompasses systematic inspection procedures at various manufacturing stages, including: Material Verification: complete chemical composition analysis through PMI (Positive Material Identification) testing, ensuring compliance with specified grade requirements and performance characteristics whilst maintaining full material traceability throughout the manufacturing process. Process Monitoring: continuous monitoring of grinding parameters, surface quality development and dimensional accuracy throughout the manufacturing process to ensure consistent product quality.
Final Inspection: comprehensive final inspection including dimensional verification, straightness measurement, surface quality assessment and visual examination to ensure compliance with all specified requirements. Certification and compliance documentation Certification packages Complete certification packages are provided with each shipment, including (for stainless steel) a 3.1 material certificate per EN 10204. Documentation suite Upon request, customers receive certificates of conformity or manufacturing mill certificates, accompanied by certificates of straightness and dimensional compliance. This documentation ensures seamless integration with customer quality systems and regulatory compliance requirements.
	Third-party certification Classification society approvals Our Nauticalloy grades are manufactured by premier European stainless steel producers and can be supplied with third-party certifications from internationally recognised maritime authorities, including: Lloyd's Register of Shipping - material and manufacturing process certification for marine applications. Bureau Veritas - quality assurance and compliance verification services. American Bureau of Shipping - marine classification and quality certification authority. RINA - Italian maritime classification and certification services. Det Norske Veritas / Germanischer Lloyd - international marine quality and safety certification. Chinese Classification Society - Asia-Pacific maritime classification services. NKK (ClassNK) - Japanese maritime classification and quality assurance. Flexible inspection authority accommodation Additional inspection authorities can be accommodated upon request, subject to technical approval and scheduling coordination. Our quality team maintains established relationships with numerous international inspection and certification bodies to facilitate customer-specific requirements.
Packaging and delivery Purpose-designed protective packaging Each completed shaft is packaged within purpose-designed wooden protective containers, incorporating where required adequate internal supports and cushioning systems. These dedicated wooden containers are professionally fumigated to comply with the most stringent international packaging safety regulations, ensuring suitability for shipment to countries with the most demanding phytosanitary requirements. This approach ensures the delivery of products in pristine condition whilst maintaining dimensional accuracy and surface integrity throughout the international logistics chain. International shipping compliance All packaging and shipping documentation complies with international shipping regulations and customer-specific requirements, ensuring seamless customs clearance and delivery coordination worldwide.
